What is "The Animazombs"?

The Animazombs is a mysterious adventure series created by Ash Yeates, set in a world where animals have long been extinct.

Sophie & Max Unbound, along with new arrival Bartley, investigate the disappearance of their grandfather, Professor Unbound, a brilliant scientist whose secret work may hold answers their world has been searching for.

The Premise

Cartoon artwork from the Animazombs world featuring multiple Animazomb creatures in a chaotic lab setting, surrounded by equipment and debris.

Hidden beneath Sparks Cove lies the Unbound Labs, home to the Professor's most extraordinary creation: the Animazombs - quirky, heartfelt, reanimated animal prototypes built from science, curiosity, and a stubborn refusal to accept a world without animals.

As the trio search for the Professor, they uncover a network of strange clues, rival forces, old grudges, and a town full of interconnected secrets.

The World

The Animazombs is set in a world rebuilt from catastrophe - a society that survives through invention, recycling, and the creative and relentless repurposing of what earlier generations left behind.

Sparks Cove, perched atop layers of reclaimed waste, stands as an unexpected symbol of resilience: a community literally built on what was discarded, proving new life can emerge from remnants of a disastrous past.

The series blends comedy, deep mystery, and quietly embedded environmental themes - exploring friendship, invention, and what it means to try and repair a broken world.
